Head of Event Marketing

Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of a client an international Events Management Company & Marketing Agency, are seeking to recruit a Head of Event Marketing to join their expanding team based in Limassol.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall strategic plan of the Event Marketing Department. He / She will be accountable for developing and implementing strategies and at the same time to be in close cooperation with agencies. He / She will incorporate the formulation and implementation of procedures, liaison with Management. The candidate will report directly to the CEO.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

 Create and implement an integrated marketing strategy to generate leads for the entire exhibition including exhibitor, sponsor and visitor campaigns

 Set out and monitor entire marketing budget, drop schedule and media plan

 Analyze previous marketing campaigns and execute targeted selections on internal database system

 Ensure the development of a brand-enhancing marketing communication plan to drive up attendance

 Identify appropriate media partners and associations and negotiate deals to maximize event exposure

 Ensure websites are up to date with the latest information

 Strategic database build

 Liaise with the marketing agency for the execution of the marketing plan

 Coordinate the design and production of sales packages, web banners, emails etc.

 Use new media tools e.g. social platforms to create new marketing channels

 Research and make recommendations to clients for future events

 Perform market research to identify the targeted audience and market trends

 Update and adhere to agreed marketing budget

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Media or in any other relevant field

 Experience as a Marketing Manager for at least 4+ years

 Manage and assist in different aspects of specific projects (Brand Marketing, Performance Marketing and Social Content, planning of campaigns, exhibition marketing and organization)

 Understanding of the Market & Clients

 Extensive knowledge of the traditional and emerging marketing channels, marketing strategies and branding

 Good knowledge of all required Google tools (Analytics, Ads Management, Search Console) and email tools (e.g. Mailchimp)

 Sound experience on Social Media Management

 Budget-management skills

 Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
