Positive is seeking to recruit an Auditor.
Positive in an Authorised Training Employer for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and fulfils the requirements for the training of ACCA students. Candidates who are planning to study or are currently students under either body will be considered.
Skills and Experience
Either University degree(s) preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or related fields/
Or CAT or LCCI third level Diploma/
Or commencing or partly completed ACA, ACCA or CPA.
Experience in a similar role is not a prerequisite but will be considered an advantage.
Knowledge of Caseware International will be considered an advantage.
Good knowledge and background in accounting and auditing. Experience in taxation will be considered as an advantage.
Microsoft Excel skills.
Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken.
Organised and able to work independently (under supervision).
A team player.
Strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality and accuracy and an eye for detail.
Professional conduct and presentation.
Work Content
Participate in the audit of small and medium sized firms.
Report to Head of Audit.
Operate our audit software and carry out audit testing tasks.
Process financial statements using Caseware under IFRS.
Communicate with clients and liaise for audit issues.
Review accounting procedures and systems and identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
