An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Fintech marketing industry. Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client an international Events Management Company & Marketing Agency, we are seeking to recruit a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join their expanding team based in Limassol.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote events, drive attendance, and enhance the overall brand image. CMOs role will involve leading a team of marketing professionals and working closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful events/expos that attract a wide audience and generate substantial business opportunities. Proven expertise in marketing and event promotion will be instrumental in positioning expos as industry-leading events.

 

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development
    • Develop and implement an overall events marketing strategy aligned with the company’s marketing goals and objectives.
    • Identify target audience and devise strategies to effectively reach and engage them through events and promotional activities.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics and competitor activities to inform strategic decision making.
  • Create compelling event marketing plans that encompass various channels such as digital marketing, social media, email marketing, content marketing, advertising, and public relations.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns including planning, budgeting, scheduling, creative development and measurement results.
  • Utilize market research and analytics to identify target segments, track industry trends and optimize marketing strategies for maximum event attendance and lead generation.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of marketing campaigns, analyze data and generate reports to measure and identify areas of improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, partners and industry influencers to enhance brand (events) visibility and drive the events growth.
  • Drive client’s acquisition and retention strategies through targeted marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Cross functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with the sales and business development teams to align event activities with lead generation and revenue goals.
    • Collaborative with internal departments including event operations to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship and performance feedback.
    • Delegate tasks, set clear objectives and monitor progress to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture within the team

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven 10+ years of experience in senior marketing roles, preferably within the events or exhibitions industry.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop innovative marketing initiatives that drive attendee engagement and generate positive ROI.
  • Proficient in utilizing various marketing channels, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and traditional advertising.
  • Experience in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation to inform marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and translate them into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing approaches and campaigns.
  • Proven budget management skills, with the ability to optimize resources and deliver results within budgetary constraints.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
