The Role:
We are seeking to recruit a passionate, high calibre and self-motivated professional for the position of Audit Manager, to be based in our offices in Nicosia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing a portfolio of audit clients
• Conduct reviews of audit files, financial statements, and audit reports
• Ensure that the audit work performed is in accordance with professional standards
• Provide on job training and guidance to junior team members
• Have direct communication with clients and maintain a good relationship
• Deliver high-quality services to clients
• Review client acceptance/continuance procedures are properly implemented, including the completion of all Risk Management procedures (KYC)
• Responsible for ensuring that all projects are managed efficiently and effectively
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA)
• University degree in Finance, or Business Administration / Economics degrees or other related field
• Post qualification experience of minimum three (3) years
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken)
• Strong knowledge of IFRSs and ISAs
• Experience with regulated and/or listed entities will be considered an advantage
• IT literacy with sound knowledge of CaseWare/Excel/Word
• Strong problem-solving, coaching and project-management skills
• Attention to detail and delivery of quality services
• Experienced in working under pressure with established deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Professionalism, work ethic, self-motivated and team player
• Positive can-do attitude, highly committed personality.
