Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client a Global leader in the lift and escalator industry, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant to join our team in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, calculate month-end accruals and depreciations, and maintain the general ledger accurately per accounting principles and reporting schedules
• Manage payments to suppliers, post-payments from customers, and reconcile cash and bank accounts
• Compile, verify, and analyze financial data to prepare accurate and timely reports for senior management
• Provide technical accounting advice to managers to help them develop budgets, understand financial reports, and manage financial responsibilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or in any other relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a relevant field
• Prior experience with SAP software will be considered an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Greek
• Very Good knowledge of MS Office including Microsoft Word, Excel
