Production Support Specialist

Takis Charalambous Ltd is the leading manufacturer and supplier of office furniture in Cyprus, and is looking to strengthen and enhance its operational efficiency by recruiting competent individuals.

Takis Charalambous Ltd is looking to hire a production planning and process optimization specialist, based at our factory in Ergates industrial area, Nicosia Cyprus.

Role: Production Planning and Process Optimization Specialist

Department: Production

Duties and Responsibilities

• Help manage daily and weekly production schedules to ensure that the factory meets production deadlines
• Perform quality control measures to ensure that all products meet company standards
• Work closely with customer support and delivery teams to align production schedules with dispatch requirements.
• Identify and implement process optimization strategies to improve productivity and minimize waste.
• Troubleshoot machinery issues and coordinate with machinery support teams to resolve technical problems.
• Maintain production reports and records, analyzing data to support decision-making.
• Contribute to workflow improvements to enhance efficiency, material utilization, and time management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field.
• No prior experience required; candidates with internships, academic projects, or relevant coursework will be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively across teams.
• Analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess production processes and identify improvements.
• Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple production tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met throughout production.
• Proficiency in Greek and English (both written and spoken) is required.
