Schedule of Courses

The Timetable(=Schedule of Courses) is prepared every semester and announced on the University’s website. It contains information about the course codes and titles, the credit units of each course, the instructor, as well as the day, time, and classroom/laboratory where the course is offered.

Helpful Explanations:

(1) In the posted timetable below, the “Event_Type” column shows three different types of courses:

  • Theory (Lectures), which have the suffix T (e.g., ABF_230_T, CFS_101_T1, etc.)
  • Laboratories, which have the suffix L (e.g., CEI_322_L1)
  • Tutorials, which have the suffix S (e.g., CFS_110_S2)

During course registrations (via the Student Portal), students need to select a section for each course only when more than one section is available (in their Portal). For example, if the Portal shows two options, e.g., CIS_164_L1 and CIS_164_L2, it means that one of the two sections needs to be selected.

(2) All courses with timetable information are listed in alphabetical order.

(3) In the posted timetable, in the column "Building Number on CUT Campus Map"’ you can see the number of each building as it appears on the CUT Campus Map, for easier identification and navigation.
