Events Sales Executive - Manpower Cyprus

Position: Events Sales Executive

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the fintech marketing industry. Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client an international Events Management Company & Marketing Agency, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Executive specialized in promoting events to join their expanding team based in Limassol.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business through sponsorship opportunities for the events and travel internationally. Previous B2B sales experience in Marketing Events will be considered an advantage. The candidate will be reporting to the Head of Sales.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Generate revenue through selling exhibition stand space & sponsorship opportunities
• Respond to inbound leads and nurture customers
• Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
• Proactively utilise multiple methods to identify a strong pipeline of new business
• Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
• Contribute towards the development of exhibitor and sponsor database relevant to assigned exhibitions
• Understand the entire sales process and be comfortable with initial sales and retention of portfolio

Requirements:

• Experience in B2B sales in Forex, Fintech is a MUST, ideally within the events and marketing industry
• Degree in Business Administration, Media, Marketing or related field from a reputable University
• Ability to source and close new business is essential
• Excellent oral and written presentation skills with confident telephone manner
• Highly self-motivated and results oriented with limited supervision
• Highly organised with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and sell multiple events at the same time
• Ability to travel is a must
• You must be able to live and work freely in the EU

Remuneration:

An attractive package of remuneration will be offered to the successful candidates based on industry knowledge, experience and qualifications which includes commissions and bonuses.
