Technical Support Engineer

 

Data Ally is looking for a high-energy, dynamic experienced professional who want to work for a growing company and would love to take a bite out of the cyber security landscape.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

1. Provide superior support and services to clients remotely or on site.

2. Handle escalated and complex technical issues from customers.

3. Implementing security solutions: Firewalls, Cloud security solutions, Endpoint, Backup solution, Multi Factor authentication, Remote Management, DLP.

4. Designing and proposing to clients the required actions for higher security level.

5. Handling support requests through phone or ticket.

6. Escalating bugs and unresolved problems to vendor.

7. Provide training to customers regarding the solutions provided by Data Ally.

8. Document and analyze security incidents and provide remediations instructions and further enhancements that might be needed.

 

Qualifications:

1. Experience should include network security providing support for any of the following: VPN, Anti Virus, HTTP, WiFi, SMTP,IPS.

2. Bachelor degree computer science with specialization to network or security.

3. Experienced in a technical support role for medium to enterprise level customers.

4. Extensive working knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suites and advanced routing protocols.

5. Comprehensive understanding of network security.

6. Comprehensive understanding of virtualization platforms.

7. Excellent understanding of Linux/ Unix, Microsoft applications, Active Directory/LDAP and protocols like SMTP, HTTP, FTP, SIP, TLS/SSL, IPSEC.

8. Advanced network troubleshooting experience.

9. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

10. Strong interpersonal skills.

11. Industry certificates such as CCNA, MCSA, CCNP and CISSP. Will be considered as an advantage.
