Senior Audit Associate.

On behalf of our client, a professional and well-established Accounting & Audit firm, we are looking to recruit a talented, high-calibre individual to join a team of audit professionals in Nicosia as Senior Audit Associate.

Our client is a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAC) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to acquire the necessary experience to succeed in a career in audit, alongside many learning and development opportunities.

 

The Senior Audit Associate, will be implementing the Company’s audit methodology, for local and international audit engagements in diverse industries. He/she will be working closely with Managers, Supervisors and associates to ensure the successful completion of audit activities at the desired standard.

 

What you will be involved in:

 

  • Conduct audit procedures in accordance with professional standards
  • Review financial information and audit documentation
  • Prepare analytical reviews, budgeting, financial statements and disclosures
  • Prepare tax computation, tax returns and distributions
  • Implement Company best practices to prepare financial statements, client correspondence and other audit-related documentation
  • Collaborate with internal departments and associates to ensure the completion of deliverables
  • Liaise with clients and contribute to building strong client relationships 
  • Review audit work of more junior members of the team
  • Participate in training junior members of the team by providing guidance and coaching
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

 

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field
  • Partly qualified or studying towards a Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA/ACA)
  • At least 3 years of relevant auditing experience 

 

Skills you have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Greek
  • Excellent knowledge of Caseware software
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with IFRSs and ISAs
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Problem-solver and analytical thinking
  • Customer-orientation
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
