On behalf of our client, a professional and well-established company in Limassol, providing technical services for the protection of the environment and marine life, we are looking to recruit a talented, high-calibre individual to join a team of professionals as Quality Officer.
The position’s main role is to maintain the Organization’s quality and health & safety system updated and ensure that its services conform to specified requirements.
What you will be involved in:
The successful candidate will report to the Quality Manager and will be responsible for the
following duties and responsibilities:
▪ Ensures that Quality Policy System is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the ISO 9001, ISO 17020, ISO 14065 and ISO 45001 quality standards.
▪ Prepares, issues, inspects and maintain the Organization’s health and safety management system documents.
▪ Monitor non-conformances and corrective actions.
▪ Handle all matters related to the training of employees and subcontractors.
▪ Prepares the Organization and participates in external and internal audits
What you need:
▪ University Degree in Marine/ Mechanical Engineering / Shipping.
▪ Knowledge of Organizational Quality Management System
▪ Knowledge of Health and Safety Management System.
▪ Min 5 years experience in the maritime industry, 2 of which should be in a Quality Department.
▪ Experience in a Classification Society will be considered as an advantage.
