QA Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the tech industry. Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client a leading software company, we are seeking to recruit a QA Engineer to join their expanding team based in Nicosia.
 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Support, Management and Development team for past and upcoming projects regarding testing activities, delivery date completion and sign off documents.
• Critical thinking, and the ability to produce and perform tests outside of the box.
• Testing new features and thoroughly documenting via comprehensive test scenarios for all manual testing activities.
• Run tests on the core software and the customer branches while monitoring previous defects and ensure that defects will not resurface.
• Constantly challenging the systems stability, functionality, and integration via manual and/or automated negative testing scenarios for functional and nonfunctional testing.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or any other related field

• Previous experience in an Agile/SCRUM environment
• Good knowledge of a programming language (preferably JavaScript, Solidity, C#, SQL)
• Experience in creating Automate test cases (CodeceptJS , Newman and Jenkins etc.).
• Experience with API and Database testing

• Ability to translate technical specifications to quality assurance processes
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Good time management & communication skills
• Customer Service orientation
• Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
• Desire to travel
