Software Developer

On behalf of our client, an innovative and dynamic company in Nicosia, we are looking for a passionate and motivated individual, to join a fast-growing team of professionals as a Software Developer.

What you will be involved in:

• Consider code integrity and maintain versioning standards within each rollout
• Present ideas for system improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Develop, test, debug and upgrade software based on specifications

What you'll need:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or any other related field
• Experience with:

1. Java programming language
2. Communication standards/protocols (JSON, XML, SOAP)
3. Front-end technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS)

• Knowledge of databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server)
• Technical analysis and problem solving skills
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated interest in learning new technologies

What would be nice to bring:

• Previous working experience in a similar role 
• Knowledge of frameworks (J2EE, Hibernate, JSF)
