Internal Accountant (Hybrid)

Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client a leading Fintech organization we are seeking to recruit an Internal Accountant in Limassol.

Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client a leading International company, we are seeking to recruit an Internal Accountant to join their team in Limassol. The successful applicant will possess 3+ years of relevant accounting and/or bookkeeping experience, be fluent in both written and spoken English / Greek.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform and review the bookkeeping process in accordance with IFRSs
• Prepare management accounts for the group’s Companies on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Assist with Auditors, Banks and related Government Authorities (i.e., Income Tax, VAT and applications for reduced VAT for beneficiaries etc)
• Responsible for the VAT returns and lease with VAT consultants
• Work closely with the Head of Finance in delivering financial reports and budgets
• Track and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Prepare payment instructions and provide support to the Accounting Department
• Provide analytics derived reporting on the company's performance relative to historical performance and budget targets
• Any other tasks assigned by the Manager related to the professional capacity

Requirements:

• Qualified or partly qualified ACA or ACCA
• 2+ Experience as an Accountant in a consulting, finance or management company will be considered an advantage
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from a reputable University
• Experience in SAP Business One will be considered an advantage
• Highly self-motivated and results oriented with limited supervision
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in Greek & English
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
