System Engineer
An excellent opportunity has arisen within the tech industry. Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client a leading software and solutions group of Companies, we are seeking to recruit Systems Engineers to join their expanding team based in Nicosia.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Design and configure servers, storage, virtualization and security solutions
Manage windows / Linux operating systems and Active Directory
Act as the primary technical contact for customers
Responding to inquiries and provide technical assistance
Conduct site surveys and audits
Provide valuable feedback to the team based on customer requirements
Lead and complete assigned projects with a focus on timely, high quality delivery
Achieving reliable, timely and high-quality design and deployment work
Troubleshoot system malfunctions and security systems issues, ensuring quick resolution
Proactively maintain systems and infrastructure availability
Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support and create design and configuration documents
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in any other related field
At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Systems Engineer
Proficient in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows and UNIX /Linux based environments
Solid experience with virtualization, storage systems and monitoring
Knowledge of ICT, with deep specialization in networking and security
Microsoft Certifications for on premise and Cloud infrastructure
Azure and Office 365 Configuration / Administration
Fluency in Greek and English
Ability to work independently or within a team
