Systems Engineer
An excellent opportunity has arisen within the tech industry. Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client a leading software and solutions group of Companies, we are seeking to recruit Systems Engineers to join their expanding team based in Nicosia.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Design and configure servers, storage, virtualization and security solutions
• Manage windows / Linux operating systems and Active Directory
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers
• Responding to inquiries and provide technical assistance
• Conduct site surveys and audits
• Provide valuable feedback to the team based on customer requirements
• Lead and complete assigned projects with a focus on timely, high quality delivery
• Achieving reliable, timely and high-quality design and deployment work
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and security systems issues, ensuring quick resolution
• Proactively maintain systems and infrastructure availability
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support and create design and configuration documents
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in any other related field
• At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Systems Engineer
• Proficient in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows and UNIX /Linux based environments
• Solid experience with virtualization, storage systems and monitoring
• Knowledge of ICT, with deep specialization in networking and security
• Microsoft Certifications for on premise and Cloud infrastructure
• Azure and Office 365 Configuration / Administration
• Fluency in Greek and English
• Ability to work independently or within a team
