Shipping & Logistics Coordinator

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Manufacturing Industry. Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client a Global electrical protection and connectivity solutions company, we are seeking to recruit a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join their expanding team based in Dali, Nicosia.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming goods and materials
  • Conduct material identification and physical counting
  • Introduce materials at provisional acceptance
  • Track materials using SAP (move, inventories, counting)
  • Compile and issue necessary reports, including inventory, dead stock, goods age, and consumption
  • Monitor the quantity and quality of stored commodities
  • Collect finished products and coordinate with Production Line leaders for order preparation information
  • Prepare transport tags and affix them to products
  • Oversee all transportation activities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with transportation partners
  • Monitor and control global logistic costs
  • Negotiate and bargain transportation prices
  • Conduct tenders among forwarders
  • Inform vendors or customers about shipping details

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years work experience in a relevant field
  • Previous experience with SAP software will be considered an advantage
  • Proven Knowledge & Experience with Logistics Software will be a plus
  • Able to work in a team, be transparent and have a results driven personality
  • Excellent written and verbal Greek and English
  • Computer Literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Possess good problem solving and decision making skills
  • You must be able to live and work freely in the EU

Remuneration:
