An excellent opportunity has arisen within the FinTech industry. Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client an International Organization, we are seeking to recruit an HR Business Partner in Nicosia (onsite role).

The ideal candidate will work closely with the wider management team in developing and executing the entire spectrum of Human Resources activities for the company, including developing a comprehensive HR strategy, and organizing and implementing the required policies and procedures in line with the organization’s objectives.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Clearly communicate the Company’s vision and values and strengthen people’s motivation and engagement through targeted activities
  • Prepare the annual HR related budgets (learning & development, recruitment etc.)
  • Responsible for transaction HR processes such as payroll, medical and compensation planning
  • Support day-to-day HR issues arising in the departments, including ad-hoc employment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee retention and others
  • Design and maintain such HR policies that support the corporate strategy (e.g. Employee Handbook, Remuneration & Reward Policy, Recruitment Policy, Succession Planning, and KPIs)
  • Effectively facilitate the performance evaluation process and consolidate the annual results into structured reports so as to enable decision-making at the top management level
  • Ensure the smooth on-boarding of newly recruited employees, data entry into the HR Information system and new employee orientation
  • Monitor new hire turnover and retention rates
  • Align the rewards and incentives practices with the corporate strategy
  • Determine manpower needs and sources
  • Prepare HR related reports with meaningful indicators for the Top Management
  • Ensure compliance with the legal and regulatory framework in relation to the local labour legislation
  • Responsible for the overall Administration of the HR Department
  • Build strong working relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external)

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Master’s degree will be considered an advantage
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in a Senior HR role minimum 3+ years of work as HR Business Partner / HR Manager
  • Very Good knowledge of key HR processes, roles and responsibilities across the entire HR lifecycle
  • Sound knowledge of the Cyprus Employment Law
  • Broad experience in the design - delivery of people initiatives, with proven experience in handling complex employee relation matters
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written, and highly effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
  • Reliable and discreet with confidential information, impeccable integrity and ethical standards
  • Ability to persuade and motivate people to work effectively together towards the Company’s objectives
  • The ability to forge trusted working relationships at all levels
  • Commercially-orientated and strategically-minded, with hands-on approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines, solutions-orientated and focused upon delivering results
  • You must be able to live and work freely in Cyprus
