RESEARCH FELLOW POSITION

Applications are invited from candidates who possess the necessary qualifications in order to fill one (1) Full-time or Part-time Research Fellow position (Category: Assistant Researcher A’ or B’ or Category: Post-Doctoral Researcher) at the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics in the field of “Green and Digital Transition Skills or Construction/Project Management or Circular Approaches in the Built Environment”.

Applicants should have:

For the position of Assistant Researcher A

• A Postgraduate (Master’s) degree from a recognized university in one or a combination of the following fields of study: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or Architectural Engineering

For the position of Assistant Researcher B

• An Undergraduate degree from a recognized university in one or a combination of the following fields of study: Civil Engineering, Architecture or Architectural Engineering,

For the position of the Post-doctoral Researcher

• A PhD Title in a field pertinent or similar to the following fields of study: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or Architectural Engineering

Furthermore, for all positions the applicants must have:

• Research experience in the relevant fields
• Experience in preparing, submitting, and managing research national/EU funded projects will be considered as a bonus
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Organizational skills

Τhe appointment will be for a period of twelve (12) months with the prospect of renewal for twelve (12) more months.

The monthly gross salary for the position for full time employment (143.33 hours/month), according to current legislation and corresponding to qualifications as follows:

For Postdoctoral researchers between €2652,97 και €2989,55

For Assistant Researchers A between: €1839,44 Και €2136,29

For Assistant Researcher B between: €1468,07και €1748,77

For part-time employment a pro-rata renumeration will be agreed accordingly.

From the agreed amount, employee contributions to Government Funds as well as Income Tax will be deducted, according to the legislation into effect.  It is noted that there is provision for 13th salary (the cost of the 13th salary has been proportionally incorporated in the monthly remuneration as analyzed above).
