Junior IT Engineer

Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client, a leading international Fintech Group, we are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Junior IT Engineer to join our client’s team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of IT, including network management, system administration, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software
• Provide technical support to end-users, resolving IT-related issues promptly and efficiently
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Collaborate with senior IT staff on projects and initiatives
• Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and hardware components
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco)
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
