Strategic Growth of Department
At the present stage the Department of Mechanical engineering and Materials Science and Engineering offers a degree in Mechanical Engineering only; one of its future objectives is to also offer an undergraduate degree in Materials Science and Engineering. As part of its strategic growth, the Department aims to develop four thrusts in each of the two fields. They are shown in Table B below.
