The minimum qualifications that are required for each academic position, including publications and academic experience, are detailed on the University’s webpage: https://www.cut.ac.cy/university/administration/administrative-services/hr/jobs/staff-categories/academic-staff-qualifications/?languageId=1  These qualifications are based on the candidate’s years of academic experience, his/her research and scientific contribution.

The languages of instruction at the University are Greek and/or Turkish. Citizenship of the Republic of Cyprus is not a requirement.

In case an elected candidate does not have a sufficient proficiency level of the Greek language, it is the obligation of the new faculty member to achieve a good level of the Greek language within three years.  This should be confirmed by the relevant Department to which the elected candidate is assigned.  It is noted that each Department is entitled to set its own criteria for the level of proficiency of the Greek language required.

Candidates should request confidential letters of reference in English from the above senior academic referees, which must be sent by the referees themselves directly to the Cyprus University of Technology, Human Resource Department (in electronic form signed and in PDF form) by the deadline for the submission of the applications. The names and addresses of the referees should be submitted together with the application because the University may also request additional confidential information.  The University may also request reference letters from independent referees of the choice of members of the Special Committee, if considered necessary. 

 (ii) In a CD ROM Disc (CD-R or DVD) as separate PDF (PORTABLE DOCUMENT FILES – saved in Latin characters, must not include symbols and the title of the files should not be long) files for each of the above items (1-8) submitted in hard copy.

Σημειώνεται ότι:

α.         Η προκήρυξη για τα πιο πάνω μαθήματα ισχύει νοουμένου ότι θα υπάρχει επαρκές κονδύλι στον προϋπολογισμό του Πανεπιστημίου για το έτος 2020.

β.         Τα πιο πάνω μαθήματα θα προσφερθούν εάν συμπληρωθεί ο απαραίτητος αριθμός ενδιαφερομένων φοιτητών σύμφωνα με τους σχετικούς κανονισμούς του Πανεπιστημίου.

γ.         Οι πιο πάνω ώρες πιθανόν να τύχουν τροποποίησης.

δ.         Το πανεπιστήμιο διατηρεί το δικαίωμα να μην πληρώσει τη θέση στην περίπτωση που αλλάξουν τα δεδομένα.

2. Διδακτορικό ή και Μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο από αναγνωρισμένο πανεπιστήμιο σε θέμα σχετικό με το γνωστικό   αντικείμενο της θέσης για το Εργαστήριο του μαθήματος ABF_315
3. Πολύ καλή γνώση της Ελληνικής και Αγγλικής γλώσσας.
4. Εμπειρία στη διδασκαλία πανεπιστημιακού επιπέδου.

Η αμοιβή των Ειδικών Επιστημόνων κυμαίνεται από €34 – €68 την ώρα αναλόγως προσόντων και της φύσης των καθηκόντων. Η πληρωμή γίνεται ως εξής: αμοιβή x ώρες διδασκαλίας/την εβδομάδα x 14 βδομάδες για το Εαρινό Εξάμηνο. Σημειώνεται ότι, οι Ειδικοί Επιστήμονες υποχρεούνται να αναπληρώσουν τα μαθήματα που δεν θα πραγματοποιηθούν λόγω των αργιών 2 Μαρτίου 2020, 25 Μαρτίου 2020, 1 Απριλίου 2020 και 1 Μαΐου 2020, εάν και εφόσον η ημερομηνία αυτή εμπίπτει στο πρόγραμμα διδασκαλίας του συγκεκριμένου μαθήματος.

Οι υποψήφιοι δεν είναι απαραίτητο να είναι πολίτες της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας.
