Νέα-Ανακοινώσεις

The Language Center of the Cyprus University of Technology offers Greek language courses for all levels, following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (A1-C2).

The courses are open to non-native speakers who want to acquire or improve knowledge of the Greek language. The Center also offers courses tailored to the needs of students, focusing either on general communication purposes or on professional purposes.

With a specialised teaching staff and advanced teaching methods, the Language Center offers Greek language courses for all language levels, from beginners to advanced. Teaching is adapted to the needs and level of each learner, creating personalised study programs.

Τhe Language Center uses the latest technologies and methods to teach the language, with a variety of activities simulating authentic real life situations as well as through the combination of learning and play. The learning process is adapted to the particular and unique needs of each learner, making language learning an exciting, interesting and dynamic learning process.

As indicated by a graduate of the programs, "Greek language programs for various levels, modern teaching methods, the use of audio-visual media, the systematicity and professionalism of the teachers, are some of what the Language Center offers. What helped me personally to attend the courses was the very humane and friendly atmosphere that prevailed in the courses and the genuine, additional effort made by our instructors" (Daria Artemova, Doctor).

Therefore, through the use of the most contemporary means as well as teaching methods, learners have access to authentic communication material allowing them to practise all textual genres and all skills based on their cognitive background and special interests. Learners act autonomously and more effectively as protagonists of the teaching process and become aware of their decisive role in the construction of knowledge.

In addition to Greek language courses for general purposes, the Language Center also offers courses for specific academic purposes, such as Greek for Medical Professions. Recognizing the need for specialised language training for medical professionals who wish to practise in Cyprus or Greece,  we offer specialised courses that focus on medical terminology, communication between doctors and patients, as well as understanding communication in the specific field.
