Vacant positions created after students’ enrolment can be filled also through transfer process.

The Academic Affairs and Student Welfare Service is responsible for calculating the vacant positions for transferred students. The Departments have the final decision on defining the number of vacant positions they can cover through transfers.  

• External transfer is for students coming from other universities
• Internal transfer is for students who wants to change their programmes within the Cyprus University of Technology.

The non-distributed positions in a Department through the above process may be claimed by:

• Graduates of the University
• Or graduates from other universities or higher education institutions recognized by the country in which they are based and / or from a field of specialisation having been evaluated/ certified in the country in which it operates.
