Rector's Office

The Rector's Office provides administrative support to issues arising from the Rector's responsibilities, as the University's top academic and executive officer, while monitoring issues arising from the University's four-year strategic planning.
 
According to the 2003 (198 (I) / 2003) Law on Cyprus University of Technology, the Rector manages the current affairs of the Institution, being the head of its administrative services and is responsible for implementing the University's policy. At the same time, the Rector is responsible for the implementation of the decisions of the Council, Senate and Rectorate Council and the following Committees he chairs:

- Committee on Rules and Regulations


- Committee on Publishing Policy, Public and International Relations and Events


The Rector's Office is responsible for the Rector's communication and cooperation, both with the academic community and with the State, the Cypriot and international community in general.
 
In addition, the Rector's Office is responsible for the actions of the University’s representation by its Officer and its substantial contribution to the social, economic and cultural development of the local and international community. At the same time, having as its sole aim the smooth execution of the teaching and research work of the University as well as the proper administrative function, the Rector's Office is responsible for the timely transmission of information and issues to the relevant bodies, both within and outside the institution, aiming their proper and effective handling.
